It's our 20th anniversary year. 

One of the biggest things that helped us was other local businesses allowing us to provide their customers flyers and cards about our adventure. We'd like to celebrate our big milestone by doing for others what was done for us!

Our new, Shop Local Pack is a great way to get your products and information about your service/business (bricks and mortar or online) in the hands of future customers! It's FREE! (*Businesses must be based in our principal trade areas of Fauquier, Loudoun, Rappahannock or Culpeper counties.)

What is a Shop Local Pack? It's a subtle economic incentive promotion effort. The purpose is to encourage our community to remember exisiting and explore new local businesses and services - while showing appreciation to our customers with a free gift.

One Shop Local Pack will be given to the first 250 consignors at each season change (March 1st and September 1st), in each store, when they drop off their consignment. It's our way of saying "thank you" to our customers and can be your way of saying "I'd like to do business with you!"  Of course, the more entrepreneurs and businesses that participate, the more we'll have to assemble and give away! If we have enough interest from fellow business owners, we'll do it even more frequently!

You can participate FREE, by providing us with up to 250 coupons, business cards, flyers, samples and other promotional items, to be included in the bags. (Yes, you can provide less - that's up to you!) That's all you have to do! We find that samples and promotional items are a huge generator of new business for participants. Be creative!

We'll also be including a small card that lists the top ten reasons why consumers benefit by shopping locally in their community.

We reserve the right, entirely at our descretion, to deny participation to services or businesses that we don't feel are family-friendly. We're sure you understand.

So get started! We're getting ready to put together our first Shop Local Pack in time for our March 1st season change. It is right around the corner!

 THE DETAILS

This will be our first Shop Local Pack. We will begin distribution on March 1st, as we change to the spring and summer consignment season. Hopefully the interest from entrepreneurs and business owners will  build and we can continue distributing packs on an ongoing basis.

Here's all you need to do:

 WHAT:    

Decide what you want to provide to potential customers. Flyer? Business card? Coupon? Sample? Copy of an ad? Whatever you choose we strongly suggest its colorful, professional and as interesting as possible to have the most impact. What can you do to ensure the receiver actually looks at your promo piece in the pack. Attach a ribbon? A piece of candy? Attract them with color? We also suggest you consider adding a code or some other kind of identifier to the piece if you want to track responses.

SIZE: 

To make our assembly of the packs as simple and quick as possible, we ask that you ensure that any thing you will be sending requires no additional folding, stapling or assembly. We don't have the time for that. Ensure your stuffer piece is no larger than 5.5" x 8" (half the size of a normal piece of copy paper).
